Do the holidays bring you a wee bit of anxiety?
Do you try to control every element of the holidays, then feel stressed when things don’t go your way?
Are you overwhelmed by all the expectations of you during the holidays (gifts, cooking, etc.)?
You are not alone and you’re in the right place!
The holidays can take you back into old patterns from the past. There are many rituals and events that we participate in year in, and year out; without giving it much thought. We do this thing because we’ve “always done it that way.”
But this year, with all the uncertainties and social distancing of 2020, perhaps it’s time to assess how we “do” the holidays, and reinvent them for ourselves and our loved ones.
Many people will be forced to isolate due to stay-at-home orders or concerns about catching or sharing a virus with loved ones – certainly not what anyone would want!
Whatever you choose for you and your family’s holiday gatherings is, after all, your choice. If we decide to deviate from a years-long ritual of going to relatives’ houses, for example; you have the option of going, or skipping it.
It’s important to communicate with compassion, regardless of your choice. The yearly hosts of your holiday events may choose to opt out altogether. If we discuss it in advance, and express concern for each others’ health, then we should feel free to make our own decisions as we weigh the options.
If others are upset, that’s ok. If others do not understand your choices, that’s ok too. This is the perfect opportunity to practice using your voice, and establishing boundaries. You will only receive guilt about your decision if YOU CHOOSE guilt.

In this video you are going to learn 3 steps to release old patterns, and give yourself permission to make decisions based on what is right for you so that you can enter into a flow-state.
Would you prefer to be in charge of your holidays, and go with the flow, or would you rather slip into old habits? Perhaps you will choose to do everything the same way that you always have, in holidays past. Ultimately, it is your choice!
When we enter into a flow state, we are in alignment with our higher self. Perhaps your annual holiday rituals already facilitate this. If not, it’s time to change the rituals to make you and your loved ones more comfortable and in charge of your life and activities.
This may pertain to attending gatherings, giving gifts, feeling like you have to host, etc. All these scenarios CAN BE YOUR CHOICE TO DESIGN AS YOU LIKE! If you need it, I am giving you permission right now to do this!
After I break down the 3 steps to releasing old patterns, and ways to start fresh or modify the patterns to suit you now; then we will meditate on this together to practice the techniques.

Release and Flow-State Techniques:
- Breathe in a fresh, new mindset of creativity, and exhale old guilt, shame and expectation patterns. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
- Allow the golden particles to bring in grace and a fresh start for you. Let this energy download in all parts of your body, emotions and mind. The outcome is freedom as you release expectations!
- Now, visualize yourself stepping into your empowerment. YOU are in charge of your life and activities. How does this feel? You are now going to create a fresh, new flow-state for yourself to enjoy the holidays. You have the universe at your back, as you visualize yourself soaring into this flow-state with ease and grace.

Practice practice practice and it will become second nature for you to release old patterns that no longer serve you, and replace them with experiences that you and your loved ones feel good about. There is absolutely no shame in this, as you communicate with your loved ones with compassion and kindness.
