Deflect Negativity by Tapping into the Power of Positivity

Many people struggle with depression, and find that they easily fall into the blues. Often, these people feel like they’re drowning in negativity and have a difficult time climbing out of negativity, losing hope.

According to a recent study, approximately 350 million people have depression. This equates to more than 4.5% of the world’s population. These depression rates over time have continued to increase, especially in low-to-middle income households. 

This makes depression one of the leading causes of disability around the world, along with anxiety.

Do you struggle with having a negative mindset? Do you usually look for and focus on problems and the downside in relationships, events and experiences? 

This is a problem for many people and yet, there are answers and ways to shift into positivity.

Following are 5 simple steps to follow in order to tap into the power of positivity. Yes, power. 

When people are able to tap into infinite possibilities with a positive mindset, they become empowered. Plus, they open themselves up to other options that a negative mindset blocks.

Let’s dive into each of the 5 steps:

  1. Attitude of Gratitude
  2. Pay attention to thoughts, emotions and speech
  3. Swap all negatives for positives
  4. Always look for the bright side
  5. Positive in, positive out

These are solutions that will help people shift out of a negative mindset, and also serve as excellent reminders for everyone. 

This is a new skill set for some and can create new habits that will create new positive options and opportunities in your life.
