Do you wish you could be more compassionate with others?
Do you wish other people acted more compassionately toward you?
Do you yearn for better health and well-being?
You’re in the right place!
Did you know that living a compassionate life might make you healthier and live longer?
Stanford University studied the health and longevity of people who say they’re happy. The studies show that when Standford split the happy subjects into indulgent vs. giving happy folks, the giving folks exhibited far greater markers for good health and longevity, such as low levels of inflammation (the cause for many diseases) and high levels of energy.
Interesting, right?

What that means is that being happy just to live a happy life is not enough to ensure health and longevity. When you pair happiness with a giving and compassionate nature, your chances of having stress-induced illnesses drops way down. Compassion acts as a buffer against stress.
Research shows that depression and anxiety are linked to a state of self-focus, sometimes resulting with a preoccupation with “me, myself and I.”
When you do something for someone else, that state of self-focus shifts to a group focus. This shift energizes you to help others. This doesn’t just benefit the people we are helping, but it positively affects our brains also.
In fact, scientists believe that compassion may have helped ensure humanity’s survival because of the tremendous benefits for physical and mental health. The data proves that when we connect with others in a meaningful way, it helps improve our well-being, speeds up recovery from disease, and even lengthen life spans.
Connecting with others is crucial to our well-being. One study showed that lack of social connection is a greater detriment to health than obesity, smoking and high blood pressure!
Whereas strong social connection leads to a 50 percent increased chance of longevity.
Social connection and compassionate living strengthens our immune system, UCLA and Stanford studies state.
Plus, people who feel connected to others and feel compassion with them have lower rates of anxiety and depression. They also have higher self-esteem, are more empathetic to others, more trusting and cooperative.
According to Stanford’s study, one of the best tools to practice in order to cultivate more compassion is MEDITATION!
Meditation will actually decrease activity in the amygdala in response to emotional images which means when we practice compassion in meditation, we can help improve our own emotion regulators.
I help people learn how to access a state of connective at-onement with others, via deep and profound compassion in their meditation practice. I often refer to it as an elevated state of group consciousness.
In this video you are going to learn the 3 steps to living a more compassionate life.
Then, I will guide you in a meditation focus to connect deeply with that state of higher group consciousness with compassion.
Give me the term “compassion” below and I will send you the show notes from today’s video so that you will be able to work on accessing love as a state of being.

We are in control of the way we use our God-given gifts to make our lives better, and improve the world. When we choose to live a compassionate life, we are lifting the energy of humanity’s group consciousness.
Now as you prepare for meditation, I will share the 3 steps to living a compassionate life full of better health. Remember to enter “compassion” below for the show notes.
